Shelbi Owen began as any other musician, dreaming of joining the college marching band and becoming an orchestra player. After a semi life-threatening turn of events, she pursued creative writing instead. With no plan, more questions than answers, and a fear of failing, she reignited her love for writing the stories flooding her brain. During her studies, she found a love for experimental fiction and all things nonfiction. Which was not something she ever thought would happen. When she’s not writing, she’s playing video games, making bead bracelets, and doing puzzles with her cat.
